I have been out of the loop for quite some time now! It feels like forever. I realized how much I miss trying out new products and offering up my opinions in order to help new parents (and "old" ones) find the products that are going to work for them! I will hopefully have some reviews up soon.

Snug n Tug

What a great, patent pending swaddle! This "must have" for parents provides a snug, soft and wiggle free swaddle for your little one. It is made with the parent in mind. This easy to use swaddle is made of breathable cotton and comes in 2 sizes! We love the 2 sizes, not all babies are the same size and believe it or not, they do grow. The Snug n Tug is a triangular blanket, made especially for swaddling and has Velcro that helps the blanket stay put all through the night. Another little plus to this blanket is the "safety" tab that pulls over the Velcro for when you wash it, so it won't snag your other laundry!

Wonder Bumpers

Recently, I stumbled upon a great app for your iPhone! This app is called TimeZup! and is created by a Dad who needed to keep his toddler from the occasional meltdowns when it was time to leave the house. I am sure this sounds familiar!

The TimeZup! app helps children keep track of when it is time for bed, when it is time to put their toys down or even when it is time to leave the house. It has verbal cues that are easy for kids to understand, and provides a count down for them that is fun and exciting. You can set the timer from 1 minute up to 10 minutes. The TimeZup! app has 4 voices: a Pirate, an Operator, Boy Wonder & Mr. Countdown. It is recommended for children 2 and up. It is available for the iPhone and iPad Touch running OS 3.0 or higher.

I have a 2 1/2 year old and with my help, we were able to set it together and the first couple times we watched the countdown together until she got used to it. At first, we tried to use it for her time outs, but it became more of a game than a time out. We scratched that idea and after speaking with the developer of the app, he suggested using it for bedtime or some other activity. We used it for bath time. Once Little G got used to it, she knew to start putting her toys away when Boy Wonder shouted "30 Seconds!" and when the buzzer sounded and time was up, she was off to her bath. We were really impressed with the TimeZup! app and would recommend it for any parent with a toddler that needs a little coaxing when it comes to certain tasks.

Bumbleride, Indie Twin

Looking for an uber cute and easy to handle double stroller? The Bumbleride Indie Twin is a great looking stroller, very easy to put together, a breeze to handle and simple to fold up again!

The Indie Twin is a side by side stroller that is infant carrier compatible. You can have both your toddler and your infant ride side by side. The backrests, canopies and footrests are all adjustable, making your stroller unique to your child's needs. It is 29" wide, which makes it maneuverable through doorways and the swiveling wheels make strolling the neighborhood a breeze.

We loved that the handle is adjustable, so when I was using it I didn't have to have my arms at an uncomfortable height and when my husband was using it, he wasn't crouched over. The basket under the seat is quite large, easily fitting an over sized diaper bag or spring jackets that have been thrown off because the sun was shining! The canopies provide great sun protection but also let the breeze through to keep your little one from overheating. It comes in some great colors too! Bumbleride promotes that it is lightweight, and for a double stroller, it is. However, for me it was a bit heavy in general. The one and only thing that we did not like about this stroller is that even though it fits through doorways, most clothing stores do not have aisles big enough to accommodate side by side strollers and when it comes to crowded festivals, it is very hard to get through the crowds. All in all, we would recommend the Bumbleride Indie Twin!

Environmentally Friendly Sandwich & Snack Bags

Finally I found a reusable bag that I like! We are a recycling and reusing family, but it is so hard to wash out your plastic baggies-knowing that they are really clean. I just couldn't come up with a good solution to our baggie problem. Then I found Reusies, which are so great. Using one Reusies bag can save 100's of bags from being thrown into landfills. Each bag is 100% cotton and lined with leak resistant nylon (BPA, Lead, Phthalate Free). You can then close them with the velcro fastener. They come in snack and sandwich sizes and are available in about 40 different patterns too! They can be machine washed and dried, put in the dishwasher or washed with soap and water, left to air dry.

We love Reusies! We use the bags more for dry snacks than sandwiches, which is great for Baby G. She loves that they velcro closed (me too!) and that they are easy for her to open as well. I can't tell you how many snacks are saved not that they are not being spilled all over the floor. We also love the cute patterns they come in and each person can have their very own set of baggies. They are pretty inexpensive as well, when you compare it to how much you spend on plastic baggies that are thrown out. You can get the snack size bags for under $7 and the sandwich size for under $9.

Daddy Scrubs

When Baby G was born, all my husband wanted for the hospital was a pair of scrubs. He always had this image that all dads get to wear scrubs when their child is born. I don't know what the fascination was with this, but needless to say, he was very disappointed when he realized he didn't get scrubs when Baby G was born.

Two years later, I found Daddy Scrubs! These scrubs are for father's at all stages of fatherhood. Being especially perfect for the Dad's stay at the hospital. These doctor-like scrubs let everyone know who the Dad is, with fun lettering across them saying "I'm the Daddy!" You can also get T-shirts with the same "I'm the Daddy!" on them. My husband was so excited to get these, and of course, can't to have another little one, when he can where these scrubs in the hospital. He tells me how comfortable they are and (he is going to kill me) has made up a dance with Baby G, that he calls "the Daddy" dance, that he can only do when he is wearing his scrubs. Daddy Scrubs was nice enough to give us a complimentary pair for a review, but I know I am going to have to buy him another pair! They come in green, khaki or blue and are under $40.

When she came to the U.S from Australia, she was not able to find the same type of cotton muslin blankets that she remembered from her childhood. She created an oversized swaddle blanket, large enough to be a stroller cover or even used as a blanket for tummy time that was made out of the gentlest muslin she could find.

Muslin is a unique material that promotes warmth and coziness, but also lets air circulate around your baby, keeping her from getting overheated. Our reviewer has been using the Aden + Anais Muslin Swaddles for a little over a month and has given her approval, 100 times over! Her little one was born 6 weeks ago and the only way to soothe her is to swaddle her. Of course, with the cold winter months we have here in Chicago, she was worried about her little one being cold, so she would swaddle her in heavy blankets, but to her dismay, she always found her little one all sweaty! Once she switched over to the muslin swaddles, she noticed a big difference! Baby Rae seemed more comfortable, feel asleep and stayed asleep and was never sweating. Joovy, UltraLight Caboose

The Caboose Ultralight by Joovy has us wishing Spring was here, with warmer weather and more time to take walks through the neighborhood! We couldn't wait to get out this weekend and try it out!

The Caboose can accommodate two children and is car seat compatible. It was super easy to put together, we did it in about 10 minutes. You can either use the front seat for an older child and connect the snack tray or snap on the car seat adapter and it becomes a great ride for your infant. While using the Caboose with a car seat, the back seat can accommodate a toddler in a standing position. Without the car seat, the child in the rear can sit as well. The new 2010 model has some improved features too! It now has 4 wheel suspension, which means a smoother ride for the back seat passenger. There is a 3 position seat recline for the front rider, versus the only 2 positions that were offered in previous models. It does come with a detachable canopy, an over sized basket underneath (which has been made much larger than it was in previous models) and an organizer that attaches to the handle bar that can store your drink, cell phone or keys.

The seats are cushioned and very comfortable for the little ones. It was a bit warmer this weekend, but snow still on the ground and the Joovy Ultralight Caboose maneuvered around, and sometimes through the snow very well. Our favorite feature was how light this stroller was! It beats most double strollers, weighing in at only 21 pounds, it is almost as light as our single stroller! It was super easy to fold up, pick up and stow away in the back of my very tiny Nissan Versa! You can purchase this stroller for under $275, a great deal for an excellent double stroller! Personalize Your Child's BackPack With PakNak

You're wondering, what is PakNak? Designed by a couple of Moms and tested out by their kids, PakNak Charms are whimsical, 3D charms that you can put on your child's lunch box, backpack or lunch bag. These charms are soft and flexible and stick to just about anything! There are about 40 designs, that come with a super strong adhesive and velcro that makes each PakNak interchangeable, depending on you child's mood!

I really like the idea of personalizing my daughter's head bands with the cute little butterflys or ladybugs! Even the Website is fun, you can download the entire collection of PakNaks in a fun to color coloring book for your kids! The one drawback is that if you don't want to have the PakNak on your headband, bag or lunch box anymore, it seemed a bit difficult to get the adhesive off if it had been on there for a while. It was very easy to remove and put on something else, if it was done rather quickly. Overall, I think these are great ways for kids to personalize their belongings and have some fun.

Are you looking for an alternative to your traditional nursing pads? I was contacted by Lily Padz and given a chance to try them out (not me, but a fellow reviewer).

Lily Padz were invented by a Mother who was looking for something more comfortable and more affordable than the disposable nursing pads. She came up with Lily Padz, made out of a gas permeable silicone (allowing your skin to breathe), with a design that conforms to your body and helps stop leakage. Lily Padz are non-absorbent, but there is no need for absorbancy. With the unique design and flexibility, Lily Padz provide enough pressure to actually prevent leakage. The sticky underside lasts about 2 months with proper care, keeping you from having to spend tons of money on new nursing pads! What's great about Lily Padz is that they are virtualy invisible under most clothes, you can wear them while swimming and they can even be used with Lanolin.

Our reviewer was very happy with Lily Padz. She was so excited to try them out and get rid of those bulky disposable pads. She was even able to wear a fantastic black dress for her anniversary dinner out with her husband! What she liked most was that they were so easy to wash and were dry and ready to wear again within minutes. Another favorite part for her was that she was able to sleep without having to wear a bra! Freedom, she said! She did have some trouble with them in the beginning with leakage, and with them being non absorbant...well, you get the picture. Once she got used to them, there were no problems and she has been using them for almost 2 months. Her plan is to buy a new pair and with them being about $30, they won't break the bank!

Carnival Cruising...For Kids

We recently took a Carnival Cruise with our 2 year old and had the best time! We were worried about not having time to ourselves, or that Baby G would be bored. It was just the opposite! Camp Carnival was a complete ray of sunshine (even though the sun was lacking on the cruise)! Throughout the day, Baby G could go to camp and see other kids, do arts and crafts and give Momma and Daddy some much needed time together. Whether at sea or at port, you can drop your child off at camp for a day filled with friendly camp counselors, running around and just being a kid! At night, we would all go to dinner, Baby G would eat and then we would take her back to camp. Camp closed at 10pm, and then turned into hourly babysitting. The hourly rate was $6...you can't beat that! When our trip was over, we got to bring home memories from camp too! Baby G made some great handprints, princess crowns, edible necklaces (that kept her occupied while waiting at the airport), a Camp Carnival tote bag, a T-shirt that she colored herself and many pictures to remember the day that Camp turned her into a bunny, complete with face painting and bunny ears! I would truly recommend cruising on Carnival and checking out the camp! There are 3 age groups: 2-5 year olds, 6-8 year olds and 9-11 year olds.

Nature's Baby

Nature's Baby is a family owned and operated company and the all natural baby products were developed by a Mom, looking for safe products to use on her daughter's sensitive skin.

I tried the Conditioner and Detangler on Baby G. It is a 70% organic formula made with Organic Aloe, Organic Comfrey, Organic Calendula and Organic Chamomile. You can leave it in, or rinse it out. Either way, your little one's hair will be silky soft and smelling yummy and you can be sure that her sensitive skin will not be irritated. I can't tell you all the gunk that Baby G put's in her hair, and getting a comb through it can be very painful for her. I use the Conditioner in the tub and rinse it out, but on days when I do not wash her hair, I use it as a detangler. It makes her tangles very manageable. I thought that leaving in the Detangler would make her hair look greasy, but it doesn't at all! We love this product.

I also tried out the Face & Body Moisturizer. Nature's Baby certified their own Aloe Farm so they would be sure that the Aloe used in their products would be safe and pure. Not only does Aloe have moisturizing properties, but it also can heal irritated skin. Made with Organic Aloe and Organic Olive Oil, this moisturizer absorbs quickly and locks the moisture in, keeping your little one's skin soft all day. This moisturizer is gentle enough to use everyday.

Final Thoughts On Sensa Weightloss

After 2 months of using the Sensa weightloss system, I am down 10 lbs and have transformed the way I eat. Although I only lost 10 lbs (I was hoping for more), I think that Sensa has trained me to eat smaller portions and has gotten me on the road to permanently modifying my eating habits. I think that Sensa can help a lot of the over eaters out there and you will most likely lose weight along the way! Thanks Sensa!

Eating with Flair

It is awful hard to find that perfect high chair that can handle your child's eating habits as well as match your style and decor. Boon offers a great alternative to the "standard" plastic or wooden high chair. The Flair fit in perfectly with our reviewers "retro" style kitchen.

Not only was this a high chair a great conversation piece, it was ultra functional as well. Our reviewer loved the seamless design, which made cleanup very easy! The waterproof pad was easy to remove and also provided comfort for the little one. Our reviewer thought that the best feature was the pneumatic lift. This allowed the chair to be adjusted to any table with ease. The chair glides easily across floors but also locks in place as well. The tray is adjustable and removable for easy cleaning. You can find this chair in white/blue, white/orange and white/pink. Our reviewer thought it was very easy to put together, she did it without the directions. However, she did feel that it was a bit heavy to pick up (28 lbs). With Boon donating 10% of profits to children's charities, we thought the Flair chair was a great find!

These are so cute. When I found the website and saw the products, I had to have them right away. Wallables are a soft, 3D product, made from a soy based foam, that sticks to your child's wall with heavy duty velcro. The cute decor hangings can be removed and repositioned as often as your little one likes. Your little one can take them down and play with them, and you don't have to worry about them breaking or hurting your little one. Wallables come in all sorts of themes! You can get your favorite Disney characters, letters to spell your child's name or a bright and whimsical dragonfly or lady bug. We love Wallables and Dotty the Dragonfly is Baby G's favorite decoration on her wall! This is a medical strength formula with sensitivity in mind. There are no harsh steroids or cortisone in this cream. It helps lock in moisture while helping skin block out harmful particles. You can use this for baby eczema or just everyday skin dryness. Baby G has eczema and this helped with the itching but did not irritate her skin. It kept her skin soft too.

Severe Diaper Rash Fast Healing Cream

This non greasy cream offers 5 times the healing power of normal diaper rash creams. It soothes diaper rash, begins healing instantly and creates a barrier so that diaper rash won't come back. I really liked this cream, it was not heavy and thick. It felt more like a moisturizer than a diaper rash cream. It wiped off skin easily too. I do have to say though, Triderma Severe Diaper Rash Cream did seem to work, but I prefer my old stand by, Triple Paste.

Our reviewer was blown away by the new insert. With her first child, she used the original insert with her ERGObaby carrier and was happy with it. Even though she was happy with the original, she felt that the new insert supported her little one more fully and made him more comfortable than before. He was able to sleep and be comfy, with the HEART2HEART that was contoured to fit his little body better. She was able to go about her day with hands free ease, knowing that her little one was safe and comfy, all the while being close to her, strengthening their bond as mother and son.

Our reviewer loved using the Podee bottle. It made feedings easier when she was on the go. She also found that the Podee system reduced the amount of ear infections her son got. He was prone to ear infections and the doctor recommended she feed him upright, which as everyone knows, is a bit hard to do. However, with the Podee bottle, it was so easy!

Nothing to report...I had my husband's class reunion last weekend and gained 2 lbs! I was able to lose it right away so am steady at 5lbs lost. I have started working out and feel better about myself! I would like to see at least another 5 lbs in the 23 days I have left...10 would be better :)

The Calendula baby skin care line is just what every baby (and Mama) need. Made with Organic Calendula flower extract, this skin care softens and soothes sensitive baby skin. You can find baby cream, diaper cream, face cream, lotion, oil and shampoo & body wash. The Calendula baby skin care is made to calm and nourish baby's skin. We used the shampoo & body wash, which I had in a sample size and later went out and bought the full size. It made Baby G's skin feel soft and smooth, without feeling greasy. We did not even have to use conditioner in her hair, the wash made her hair feel silky and got the tangles out! After her bath, we used the oil, which soaked in rather quickly but locked in the moisture that is so often lost after baths. Weleda also recommends that the oil can be dropped onto a tissue and used during diaper changes. We did not use it for this, instead we used the diaper cream. With the first sign of redness, I would put the diaper cream on, and by the next diaper change, no more redness!

I liked the natural-ness and organic ingredients of Weleda, especially for Baby G. They also have skin care for adults, I am hoping to check those out next!

Sensa, Day 26

I am almost there! Using Sensa is like second nature, I sprinkle on all my foods! My portions have gotten smaller and I am even eating healthier. I have lost a total of 5 pounds. My hopes were high that I was going to lose tons of weight, like I was taking a miracle drug or something. I am happy with the 5 pounds and hopefully I will lose another 5 this coming month.

All Terrain X3 Sport Single Stroller

Tike Tech was so generous to donate one their All Terrain X3 Sport strollers for My Little Guppie to review. My Little Guppie has never reviewed a jogging stroller with a fixed front wheel before, so we had some research to do!

We found out that the best jogging strollers are the ones with a fixed front wheel (does not turn). The X3 was so easy to push and felt so light weight (the frame is aluminum) while romping over all sorts of trails. We really liked the adjustable handle and the one touch reclining seat. Baby G loves to look all about when we go strolling, but the times she does fall asleep, I like to be able to recline the seat without waking her...the X3 made this task effortless. Baby G seemed to love riding in this stroller-the seat was ultra padded and the suspension made all the bumps seem like nothing. I LOVED how the canopy had a super low drop down to keep the sun out...and it helped with the rain. I did think it was very difficult to get used to lifting the front end up to turn. I have seen several moms and dads running with strollers like this and they make it look so easy. I am not a fan, I would prefer a stroller that gave me the option to either have the fixed front tire or to give it the capability to make turns.

The X3 is car seat and bassinett compatible, making this stroller suitable for infants and toddlers. Coming in 4 colors and moderately priced, we thought the All Terrain X3 stroller was a great product.

The Mommy Hook

When I received the Mommy Hook, I have to tell you that I was definitely skeptical. I figured this was just another product that really was not useful. I am happy to say that I was wrong!

The Mommy Hook helped me out in several situations when I did not have enough hands, and no more room in the stroller, to carry one more bag! The Mommy Hook fit nicely on my stroller handles and was able to hold all my shopping bags! When I got home, all I needed to carry was my Mommy Hook, that conveniently had all my bags already attached to it. This durable hook is made of heavy duty aluminum and will not break like cheap, plastic hangers.

Day 13-Sensa

Day 13 is here. I am almost 2 weeks into my Sensa journey and proud to say, 2lbs down! I don't feel like I am losing weight like others have, but maybe I will start to lose more rapidly since I have been doing it for 2 weeks now. I definitely see my portion sizes decreasing and I do not feel like I am being deprived. I feel fuller faster and have overcome the feeling that I just want to eat more because it is so yummy! As before, I still have my cravings, but I LOVE to snack! When I do snack, I have less. I am not sure if I have less because of Sensa or because I am too lazy to sprinkly my tastants on each and every chip, so I just stop eating. Either way, I am still moving towards my goal of eating less. I have been trying to walk at least 30 minutes a day but have not been very successful with that. I would say that I walk 3 times a week, which is a start. Wish me luck as I continue losing :)

Keep Me Coloring Germ Defense Placemats:

These placemats are the best I have found so far. They stick to pretty much any table and when removed, do not harm the table. You can even wrap it around the edge of the table. The mats are waterproof but are still easy to color on. They come with triangular shaped crayons that do not roll. Best of all, they are made out of environmentally degradable calcium material. They also come in fun patterns that any kid would love.

Keep Me Clean Disposable Bibs:

These bibs did not live up to what I expected. Granted these are soft, degradable and waterproof, I don't think they can stand up to a toddler's hands! My little one ripped hers off each and every time. If you have a child that loves to wear bibs, then this is the product for you, otherwise, I would save my money.

Public Potty Protectors:

I love, love, love these! What a great idea for your little one, who always seems to have to go when you are in the dirtiest of places. These protectors are extra large, covering the sides of the toilet seat and the front. The material is soft, waterproof and of course, environmentally friendly. The package is small enough to fit into your diaper bag as well.

Today is the start of day 6 using Sensa. I have been sprinkling those little Tastants on everything I eat...well almost. It is extremely hard for me to remember to sprinkle, sprinkle, sprinkle. I am a big snacker and to sprinkle on every little chip that goes in my both is very difficult. Maybe I should just stop snacking! I do feel that when I sit down to a meal and use Sensa, I am eating less. I have been leaving more on my plate and feeling fuller faster. Even though I have not lost any weight yet, I am not getting discouraged.

I finished day 1. I do not feel any different and my portions did not seem to change. I am assuming this is typical, at least that is what it tells me. I sprinkled the Tastants on all of my food.

The Tastants do not have any flavor, and did not change the flavor of my food. When I smelled them inside the container, the salty did not seem to smell much but the sweet did have a very sweet smell. However, it did not change the scent of my food. I do feel that I am definitely going to run out of the salty before the month is over. It just does not seem like enough is provided...but we'll see!

There is a nearly even split between those that pack lunches (52%) or buy school lunch (48%)
The PB&J is the most popular (37%), but a surprising 24% of parents don’t pack a sandwich for their kid’s lunches.

Baby Magic

As you all know, I am all for using organic or all natural products for Baby G. However, sometimes they are not handy and something else has to be used. I want to share Baby Magic with you. I am sure everyone knows Baby Magic, I think that is what I was most familar with...that "baby" smell that is so famous!

I tried the Gentle Hair & Body Wash and the Baby Lotion. Both seemed to work very well. The wash is tear free, dye free and hypoallergenic. It rinsed off easily and did not create any irritation on Baby G's sensitive skin. I liked that it could be used as a body wash and a shampoo. It left Baby G's skin feeling clean but soft at the same time. The Baby Lotion was really nice and pleasant smelling. It is enriched with vitamins and left Baby G's skin feeling ultra soft but not greasy. I liked that it absorbed fast and I was able to put her clothes on right away without them getting stuck on her greasy skin.

Overall, I thought Baby Magic was a good product and would purchase. I would like to see them come out with an all natural or Organic line though! You can purchase Baby Magic at Drugstore.com and Amazon.com.

My little one does not want to sit in high chairs anymore and really is not a fan of booster's. She wants to be like the grown ups. Do you always dread pumping? It is so time consuming, but the benefits are great...you have to go back to work (or want a night out) but you still want to nurse. Pumpin' Pal offers you some relief and lets you have hands free while pumping.

Our reviewer admits, she was a bit skeptical at first, but after using it for 2 months, she LOVES it! The hands free strap let our reviewer work on her computer while pumping. It lets you do simple tasks such as reading a book, typing on your computer, talking on the phone or just watching TV. Our reviewer was using the All-In-One Kit that comes with the hands free strap, an Air Dry Parts Bag, a Manual and 3 sizes of Super Shields (to be used with your pump by inserting them into your own shields). The Super Shields are BPA free and are angled in a special way so you don't have to lean forward while pumping. We thought that this feature was one of the best, what a pain it is to have to lean forward just so the milk will flow into the bottle.

This Potty Bench by Boon is a great idea for anyone trying to teach their little one how to use the potty. We actually put the Potty Bench out for Baby G to start getting used to about 6 months ago. It has been a permanent fixture in our bathroom since. Baby G was very interested in it and checked it out thoroughly right away. She opened the lid, checked out the 2 side storage bins with sliding lids and has been using it as a step stool to brush her teeth. She has not quite mastered using the potty yet, but loves to try it out!

The Boon Potty Bench comes in green or blue, for about $35. It has 2 side storage bins, one of which has a built in toilet paper holder. There is a pull out drawer, for easy cleanup and a soft, removable deflector shield. Your Potty Bench can be used as a stool or with the lid shut, a great bench for giving baths, holding up to 300 pounds!

It is a convenient "timer" that clips onto your waist and reminds you how long "Itzbeen." The Itzbeen has several handy features; a nightlight and clip for your waist, a reminder for when your little one was changed last, a timer for when she was fed last, a timer for when she fell asleep or woke up and one more for your choice. There is even a reminder for which side you nursed on last-which I found to be the most helpful! This would make a great shower gift and even comes in a variety of colors.

We love Boon bath toys! We already have the Frog Pod, full of toys and "crawling" up our bathroom wall. We have several additions to our toy arsenal!

Scrubble:

These great, egg shaped, interchangable bath toys are fun to play with! They fill with water and can be squeezed and sprayed. They are easily cleaned and are dishwasher safe. When we wash Baby G's hair, she fills the Scrubbles and sprays her hair to rinse it!

Splat:
This floating ring toss, is a great toy to help with coordination, while having fun in the bath. The "target" floats and moves all about, making it challenging and a ton of laughs. Baby G likes to wear the rings around her wrists as bracelets.

Water Bugs:

Our favorite of all, 3 little floating "bugs" swim around the tub, while your little one scoops them up with the net. How fun! Baby G carries her "bugs" around with her after bathtime too.

Everyone knows I am all for organic anything! I found erbaorganics while searching the internet for a natural, organic baby wash. erbaorganics baby wash is a natural and mild wash that left baby G's skin feeling soft and moisturized. This wash is great for baby's sensitive skin, it does not over dry or irritate. It is hard to find a good wash that actually cleans! Baby G has such sensitive skin that I have been hesitant to try anything other than what the dermatologist has given us, which of course, is not organic. How great it was to find a wash that was free of harmful parabens, pesticides, SLS's and artificial coloring. When I opened the bottle, I could smell the organic lavender and chamomile that left baby G's skin smelling and feeling good.

My Go GaGa messenger style bag has a patented ergonomic strap that helps distribute weight more evenly and makes it so comfortable to carry. There are endless features, such as the two outside, fully lined and insulated bottle pockets. There are so many pockets and places to stash items, nothing gets mixed together and it is all so easy to find. When not toting Baby G around, my Go GaGa bag was great to carry my laptop in, with room for my wallet, keys & cell phone! The angled front flap makes it so easy to access the front pocket without having to unclip it. My favorite "can't live without" feature is the stroller straps. We all know the difficulties of pushing a stroller with a diaper bag hanging way too low and knocking into our knees. Not with this baby tote! I have been so lucky to have received another great product from HotSlings. HotSlings is my new favorite place to send all my friends looking for baby slings. This unique "pouch" style sling is not only uber stylish, but functional as well. My HotSling gave me the freedom to move about, with my hands free, as well as the security of being close to my little one. I have noticed that a lot of slings are mostly for infants. I can not wait to tell you all about the great baby cleaning products I found. The brand is Dapple and they specialize in cleaning products for households that have little ones running around.

I tried out the travel size dish liquid and toy spray. Both worked great for me and contained a pleasant scent from pure lavender essential oil. The dish liquid was able to get all my dishes clean, even the sippy cups that had dried milk in the cap and there was no residue left over. The toy spray is easy to use, spray on and wipe off. What a great way to let your little ones share their toys but not worry about all the germs! This spray worked great on my countertops too.

I just finished reading The No-Cry Nap Solution by Elizabeth Pantley. Not only is this a great book to read, but a great tool to use when trying to get your little one to nap. This book provides easy and practical solutions to specific napping problems. The No-Cry Nap Solution helps you identify the problem and solve it in a way that is easy for you. Does your child only take a nap if she has a bottle or is nursing? How about the baby that only fall asleep while being rocked (in a swing or in your arms)? Does your little one have to have a pacifier to take a nap? Does your child get fussy and cranky due to lack of sleep? Is it hard to get your tot to take naps longer than 1/2 hour? Elizabeth Pantley has solutions to all of these scenarios. She offers several routes for you to take in order to remedy the napping problem. Within the book are tools and worksheets for you to use and to monitor your child's sleep patterns. All of her solutions can be modified to fit your little one's personality and your lifestyle (and schedule).

I found that my favorite part of the book are the explanations that are provided about why children (and adults) need naps and what the benefits are. We all know that when our little one's take naps, it provides us with some "adult" time...time to clean, time to eat, time to relax, or time to phone a friend. However, there are so many hidden benefits that you may not even realize. A lot of people think if they take a cat nap then they will feel better. This is true-sort of. The first 1/2 hour of napping is when the feeling of tiredness disappears, so when you wake up (or your child wakes up) you feel refreshed and not tired. This only lasts for a bit, your body has not fully recharged and quickly feels tired again. This is the same for your little one. Did you know that when a child naps, it gives their brain time to convert their short term memory to long term memory? Most 12 month olds need about 12 hours of night time sleep and nap time sleep. Most 12 month olds can stay awake between 3-4 hours at a time during the day without getting cranky. (I say "most" since all children are different). Getting enough sleep will help them remain happy and alert! Another thing I really liked was that Elizabeth Pantley knows that all children, parents and their schedules are different. She does not lump everyone into one category and say that this will work for everyone.

I have been able to test out some great sport carriers, but the Lascal M1 Carrier is the best yet! It is sporty and trendy looking (offered in many colors), while at the same time being comfortable, flexible and safe. It is made of soft, ventilated, and naturally anti-bacterial bamboo fabric. It has a 3-way adjustable front: the width is adjustable-allowing for a custom fit, the seat height is adjustable-allowing the carrier to grow with you and your little one (fits a child from 8-30 lbs), and an adjustable head support. For you, there is a lumbar support which keeps you more comfortable for longer by keeping you baby's weight more evenly distributed. There are also wide padded shoulder harnesses for maximum support and comfort. The bamboo fabric cover is easily removed for cleaning. What is really great, the M1 carrier offers a back support for baby, keeping your little one's growing spine in line. This is not a feature you can find in most carriers.

We loved using the Lascal M1 Carrier. With it being cold out, we were not able to take many walks, but we did go to the mall a lot. I even would do chores around the house with my little one in the carrier! With her being able to walk now, she wants to be free to roam around, and often makes a fuss when she can't do that. However, she really enjoyed being in the Lascal M1 carrier. When we would take it out, she would wobble over and couldn't wait to be put in it. She is a tiny peanut but it is great that the Lascal M1 carrier will hold children up to 30 lbs. I never got a back ache and it was so easy to switch between myself and my husband. Every parent experiences the same thing when their child is old enough to hold their own bottle or sippy cup. Yep, you guessed it...a day filled with thrown bottles, sippy cup messes to clean up and time spent searching for the bottle or cup that was dropped 2 blocks back on your walk. A local Illinois mom and science teacher has come up with a solution. She has designed her very own bottle/sippy cup holder!

This holder will fit most sippy cups and bottles. It does claim to fit all bottles and sippy cups, but low and behold, I have one in my cupboard that it does not fit! The band that fits around the cups and bottles is like those stretchy rubber bracelets that used to be all the rage. It is attached to a coil tether that stretches to 3x it's length and on the other end has an attached suction cup. The suction cup will attach to any clean, flat and hard surface. It also comes with a link that can attach to things that do not have trays, such as shopping carts or some light weight strollers. The best part, it is 100% safe and non-toxic. My only thought is that I want to find a holder that when the cup or bottle is dropped, it always lands drinking side up! Am I wanting too much? Anyways, at $7.00 and very quick shipping, I would definitely recommend the sippy cup holders!

I have been so lucky with the diaper bags that have been sent to me for review! Especially since I have found 2 diaper bags by the same company that are both excellent. This time, I was able to try out a camouflage messenger type bag by gr8x.

This bag is so versatile and stylish. It is great for dad or mom! It has an insulated pocket for bottles, external access to the wipes, a pacifier pouch, soft & waterproof changing pad with it's own pouch, adjustable shoulder strap, stroller strap attachments, a clip for your keys, a cell phone pouch and even a 2 year warranty!

We got so many compliments on this bag. My husband, especially, as he toted our daughter around many other dads asked where he got his manly diaper bag! With it's messenger style flap, everything is easily accessible and easy to find. Nothing ever got lost and there was so much room! It was great because there was no zipper that you had to struggle with to get closed, the zipper usually winning resulting in multiple items falling out. Not with the gr8x camo bag! I never left a trail of pacifiers and toys.

I was recently asked to review a website, Just Ask Baby. I put it off and then put it off some more. I finally got around to it and wish I would have started perusing it when I got the first request. This is a great website! You can sign up for a free 15-day trial and take advantage of the perks Just Ask Baby has to offer it's members.
Once you register, you can create your personal homepage. On this page, you can upload photos of your child, log personal milestones (using these cute little stepping stones) and keep a personal baby diary. Each video gives tips as to how to ease your child from milestone to milestone.
The Chief Scientific Advisor is David Elkind. He is Professor Emeritus of Child Development at Tufts University. He obtained his Doctorate at UCLA. I love this 3 in 1 animal! My daughter has Mashaka the Monkey. He is a plush, lovable monkey-a comfy pillow-and a snuggly blanket all in one. Zoobies are definitely moving in as your little ones favorite toy and blankey! Mashaka is a great friend for my little one to play with and when playtime is over, he becomes a pillow or blanket to snuggle with. The stuffed animal unfolds to be a pillow, the pillow unzips to become a blanket. And you don't need to follow any directions to get that blanket back in the stuffed animal. Just fold it up and stuff it in, very simple. The blanket is quite large, made of coral fleece and is machine washable. Zoobies have won the iParenting Award and the Top Toy Award of 2007. There are two collections, the Zoo collection and the Safari Collection, both offering many animals to choose from. Table Topper & Disposable Bibs by Neat Solutions

Table Toppers are the single most great, innovative and useful invention I have come across. These great sheets stick to table tops and provide a clean surface for your child to eat off of. The Table Toppers protect your child from germs, dirt and chemicals on restaurant tables. They come in many fun, bright and educational designs to keep your child occupied. When you are finished, simply pull them up and throw them out! And don't worry, they are BPA-free, PVC-Free and phthalate-Free.

Neat Solutions also provide disposable bibs (also BPA-free, PVC-Free and phthalate-Free). These bibs provide a soft, absorbent front with catch all pocket and a leak proof backing to keep your child dry. There is no need to fill your laundry with bibs, this is totally disposable! The one major problem is that it secures with Velcro...this bib did not last more than 2 minutes on my little one. She ripped it right off.

A stylish and functional umbrella stroller

It has always been a complaint of mine that the handles on umbrella strollers are so low, you have to hunch down to push it! Why should we have to get back aches just from taking a walk with our little ones? Well, no more back aches here, the Trip, by Inglesina has handles that are tall enough for anyone to push without having to hunch over.

The Trip is great all around. The handle are soft touch and the stroller is ultra light, with its aluminum frame. Even with it being lightweight, does not mean it can't hold the weight! This stroller will hold a child from 6 months up to 45 lbs. It comes standard with a cup a holder, adjustable footrest, waterproof canopy and shopping basket underneath (quite large in fact). The umbrella stroller has a 4 position reclinable backrest, which most umbrella strollers do not have.

I am so happy to have the Trip by Inglesina, it folds and unfolds so easily I use it when running errands. It is great to throw in the trunk for those quick runs and is sturdy enough to use as your everyday stroller for walks! The only problem I ran into was that the front wheels seem to shake a bit when they were not in their locked position. This did not pose much of a problem, I just kept them locked, which did not have much effect on the turning capabilities. For a little over $100 this is a great investment.

I am so impressed with the Easy Walker Sky that I have been using. This product definitely speaks its' name loud and clear. Everything about the Easy Walker Sky is EASY!

I received my new stroller, and was so excited to start strolling around the neighborhood. I immediately opened the box and began assembling it. It took me less than a half hour! The directions were intuitive and the I put the Easy Walker together with ease.

The next day, I took my new Easy Walker Sky for a stroll. I adjusted the height adjustable push bar and away we went. We walked on the sidewalk and then onto a trail through the park. Whether we were on the pavement or the pebble path in the park, the Easy Walker Sky never hesitated. It has 3 wheels, the front being a 360 degree swivel wheel that can be locked into place. The suspension provided a smooth ride for my little one. This stroller is strong and lightweight, made of aluminum, weighing only 20 lbs. After our walk, I was able to fold this stroller with no effort!

The features are great too. The seat has 4 adjustable reclining positions. It comes with a sun canopy, a rain cover and a mosquito net. It also has a carry cot that attaches, for that old time pram look. The mattress that comes with the carry cot is super comfy too. The Easy Walker Sky comes in about a dozen colors and they even have a Pimp your Pram package for a more trendy look. You can purchase a foot muff, travel bag and running board separately. There is also an adapter that can be purchased for your Maxi Cosi Mico or Graco Snugride carseat.

The only thing I thought could be improved was that my JJ Cole BundleMe did not fit on it properly! I was able to make it work though.

I had the pleasure of testing out another great diaper bag. This one is by gr8x, called the Hobo Slouch. It has great style and quality. The quality of this bag exceeds most bags. Not only is it stylish, depending on the color, your hubby will love to carry it too.

The Hobo Slouch is quite functional and allows enough room for whatever you and baby need. It has several good sized pockets, an insulated bottle pocket that is accessible from outside the bag, a cell phone pocket, a pacifier pouch and a quick access exterior wipe pocket. The bag as a zip closure, for peace of mind that no precious items fall out. Like all diaper bags, the Hobo Slouch also comes with a changing pad. However, this changing pad is not your ordinary pad. It is super soft, waterproof and comes in its own little pouch on the inside of the bag. It was a bit difficult to get it back in its pouch, but with enough practice it becomes super easy. There is a very comfortable, adjustable shoulder strap that can easily be hung from most strollers. The material that this bag is made out of is extremely durable and wipes clean very easily.
